Sermon on the Plagues of Exodus 7-10

The story of God’s deliverance of his people from captivity to covenant in the book of Exodus rapidly accelerates in the Plagues of Exodus 7-10. Yet the way God goes about that deliverance raises some questions. Why does God display his deliverance through severe judgments on Egypt? And why does he choose to do it through hardening someone’s (Pharaoh’s) heart? Join us as we consider what it means for our lives that God delivers in the ways he does in this passage — with all its shock, surprise and control.
