When we really meditate on the wonder of what we have in Christ, we find a true treasure for our souls. In this Advent season, where we anticipate the return of Christ, thinking back on his first coming, I invite you to read along as I try to merely scratch the surface of the the treasure we have in Christ Jesus our Savior.
How do we pray when we fear losing someone? How do we get past feelings of being stuck and unable to really hope or pray at all because we just don’t know what to say or what to ask for? I share two things I’ve been learning about how to do this as I’ve either lost or feared losing people I care about.
Many people wonder what God will be like when they meet him. Will I like him? Will I be afraid of him? But, what if you’ve already met him? What if he’s been hiding in plain sight and you’ve known him all along?
